UPDATE ON THE FLORIDA REVIVAL! By now most believers are aware that evangelist Todd Bentley who led the Florida Revival at Lakeland Florida has stepped down from the ministry to work on his marriage. Sadly, right on cue, out came the critics as we Christians confirmed our tendency to "shoot our wounded". All of us are flawed at best, and all of us deserve compassion and prayer to be restored. May God have mercy on those who celebrate another's problems, sin or failures. I stand firm in declaring God's presence in Lakeland with power to accomplish His purposes. I was there. It was God. It was real. I saw it transferred. As in all revivals, flesh and immaturity was evident, and the Church was stepping in to guide, correct and clarify theology. Pastor Steven Strader of Lakeland's Ignited Assembly of God says the anointing continues, to which I say "Praise the Lord!" Now, let's all focus our prayers to see Todd's marriage restored. Equipping the Church for a Healing Ministry
When Jesus announced His spiritual "platform" at the
start of His ministry in Capernaum, He said He
had come to heal the broken-hearted and set the captives free. Our times
are similar to the days of Christ when poverty, sin, sickness, political
corruption and the many stresses of life inflicted emotional wounds and
led to the bondage of compulsive and self-destructive behavior. Pastors
can establish a Healing Ministry to help their members receive what should
